Last of the Single Digits

It seems I write this same sentence every year...  I cannot believe my Holly is 9.  She informed me that this is her LAST year of single digits.  *sniff

As usual, we started our morning with cupcakes and opening family presents.  She made out like a bandit....  Even got a new bow!!!

We then had her birthday party!  There is something special about having your birthday party ON your birthday, don't you think?  This year, Holly decided she wanted to do pedicures and ice cream.  We have a great little spot in Lacey... actually, we joke that Holly owns it...  It's called Holly's Nails. She invited her closest friends and we had a fancy time.  We then headed around the corner to our favorite fro-yo spot, Limeberry.  YUMMM

After her party, we headed home to pack, but then took her out for her birthday dinner.  Holly decided to head to our local Japanese Steakhouse.

Happy Birthday, sweet girl!!! You are turning into quite the young lady.
